LOCATION

FROM THE WEST (ENTIAT, SOUTH SHORE)

Heading towards Chelan on 97A from Entiat, South Shore, or Lakeside follow 97A past the "3 fingers", past Lady of the Lake and around the corner until you can make a RIGHT on Waterslide Dr. Head up Waterslide Dr and both parking lots are located to your right.

FROM THE EAST (ORONDO, PATEROS, MANSON, DOWNTOWN CHELAN)

After navigating your way towards Downtown Chelan, you want to head south at the intersection of Woodin Ave and Sanders St. (stop light with gas station on 3 corners). Follow Sanders toward the bridge were it becomes Webster. Stay on Webster until you pass Peterson's Waterfront Resort. A 1/4 mile past Peterson's your will see Waterslide Dr. Make a left and head up the street to find parking.

Park in the upper parking lot and enter through the Lakeside Surf entrance to save time. Guests can pay, check-in with pre-purchased tickets or season passes and get your stamp for Slidewaters at the Surf Entrance. Surf Entrance opens at 8am and the gate to Slidewaters opens at 10am. 

OPERATIONAL SCHEDULE

SLIDEWATERS

Slidewaters is a seasonal outdoor waterpark. The scheduled operational season is from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day each year. Lakeside Surf is a partner surf facility connected to Slidewaters. When Slidewaters is open, Lakeside Surf is also open. Lakeside Surf does have operational hours outside the Slidewaters operational schedule. You can learn more about Lakeside Surf at lakesidesurf.com   

Last call for all water attractions is 15 minutes prior to closing time.

Slidewaters reserves the right to alter our hours of operations. For their own safety, patrons can expect periodic closure of water attractions if lightning is in the vicinity of the park.  In conjunction with local health authorities, we may need to alter operations to ensure guest safety. We do not offer refunds, but are happy to make accommodations for your purchases.

FAQ

  • Does everyone who enters have to pay?

    YES, all guests entering the park must pay. Even if you do not plan to swim or slide you must pay admission to enter the park. Please visit our Hours & Admission page for more information.

  • Can I bring outside food and a cooler into the park?

    We allow soft shoulder size coolers in the park. We reserve the right to inspect any bag being brought into Slidewaters. Since we do not allow glass or alcohol on Slidewaters property, our insurance company requests that we lower the risk of those items being smuggled into the park by only allowing shoulder sized coolers inside the park. No hard or Styrofoam coolers allowed. We do allow all day readmittance to the park if you wish to leave your large cooler in the car until you are ready to eat.

    Outside food is allowed inside Slidewaters. Please do not bring any glass containers or alcohol to Slidewaters.

  • What are the requirements to ride slides?

    Eyewear: For patron, slide and equipment safety, ALL eyewear must have a retainer device so that the eyewear is never separated from the slider. You are NOT allowed to hold or place eyewear in your pocket while you slide. Eyewear straps are available in the gift shop.

    Footwear: For slider safety and to protect our slides from excessive damage only non-marking water shoes and closed toed sandals are allowed on our slides.

    Attire: We do not allow cotton shorts or athletic style shorts on the body slides because you will stop in the slide. You may wear t-shirts but must lift them above your waist while going down the slide to prevent you from getting stuck. We also do not allow denim or and garments with zippers, buttons or hard objects that could damage the slides.

  • Do you accept expired coupons or deals?

    Due to the short nature of our season, we can only honor coupons or deals within the parameters that they were orginally setup with. If you have additional questions regarding your coupon or deal please reach out to Slidewaters via phone (509-682-5751) or email (info@slidewaters.com).

  • Do you have lockers?

    Yes, we offer all day lockers. Our new locker kiosks will accept exact cash or credit cards. An all day rental is $8. We also offer a small personal items locker with charging capabilities for $5

     

  • Do any of your rides have height restrictions?

    Yes, You must be 48″ tall to ride the Downhill Racer and Thunder Rapids River Run. This requirement supersedes the age and swimming ability of the slider.The Aqua Zoo play area is designed for patrons under 48″. No other attractions have height restrictions, however some require that guests be able to swim or be willing to wear a life jacket (provided free of charge).

  • Do you allow animals in the park?

    We do not allow any animals or pets inside the park. We do welcome serivce dogs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. We also patrol our parking lot daily to ensure no pets were left unattended in the summer heat. We will reach out to Chelan County Animal Control if a pet is left unattended.

  • Everyone must obey all the rules.
  • Please be courteous and polite to Slidewaters Staff and guests during your visit.
  • Slidewaters is a family-friendly business, please behave appropriately.
  • Please do your best to help keep Slidewaters clean and beautiful.
  • Please communicate how your experience was at Slidewaters. We welcome immediate feedback, emails, phone calls or letters about both positive and unfortunate experiences during your visit.
  • Patience. Please understand that we offer employment to approximately 150 young adults. This is a first job for many of them and it is a training ground for all them. Every summer we have a fantastic staff that is developing skills and work ethics that will set them up for the rest of their lives. Thank you for being apart of the learning process. 
  • Please be safe, have FUN and enjoy your friends and family as much as possible while at Slidewaters.


DRESS CODE
  • We request that swimwear be modest in design. Please do not wear overly revealing swimsuits.
  • Denim, cotton shorts, athletic shorts or any attire with sharp or hard pieces (eg: buckles, exposed zippers) are not permitted on any slides.
  • ALL EYE WEAR MUST HAVE STRAPS. 
  • Please consider covering up Vulgar or non-family friendly body art.
  • Children not yet completely potty trained, must wear swim-diapers. Swim diapers are available in the Gift Shop.
  • Footwear must be non-marking, designed to be worn in the water and cover your toes to be able to wear while sliding.

GENERAL PARK RULES
  • All guests use Slidewaters at their own risk.
  • We do not offer refunds.
  • Horseplay and running are not allowed at Slidewaters.
  • Slidewaters is a family-friendly park, please choose appropriate swimwear for your visit.
  • No alcohol or drugs on Slidewaters property. Guests may not use any attractions while under the influence.
  • No hard coolers or Styrofoam coolers in the park. No coolers on wheels.
  • No glass containers in the park.
  • Young children who are not completely potty trained are required to wear a swim diaper and a swim cover over the swim diaper.
  • Everyone must obey all the rules.
SLIDING RULES
  • All guests use Slidewaters at their own risk.
  • Guests must follow the directions and requests of Slidewaters Safety Staff at all times.
  • No horseplay or running at Slidewaters.
  • No diving or head first sliding.
  • No standing, kneeling, rotating, spinning, tumbling or stopping on any ride.
  • Hands must be kept inside flumes.
  • No running starts.
  • No jewelry, swimwear with hard or sharp pieces, food or gum on rides.
  • Denim and cotton shorts are not allowed on any body slides and cotton t-shirts are not recommended.
  • All eye wear must have straps for every water attraction.
  • Splash down pools are for sliders exiting the slides. Please clear splash down areas as quickly as possible after exiting the ride. We offer a lazy river and an activity pool for those looking to play in the water.
  • Everyone must obey all the rules.

 We are always in search of happy Team Members who can help create happy guests! Our numerous teams operate together as one big team of friends and family. Our seasonal staff is approximately 150 Team Members comprised of our Safety Team, Food & Beverage Team, Surf Team, Operations Team. Our traditional hiring season is January to May each year, but we end up adding to the team throughout the summer, so please never hesitate to submit an application.

Things to know:

  • Please be patient as we process a high volume of applicants each year.
  • Applicants must be 14 years old to work and 16 to guard.
  • Resumes are not required but encouraged.

  • Interview scheduling begins in February.
  • Interviews start in late February and continue as needed all year. The majority of interviews and hiring happens in March and April.

DONATIONS

NON-PROFIT DONATIONS
  • Slidewaters is proud to donate tickets every year to local non-profit organizations that have a direct benefit to youth. Please read the guidelines below before making a donation request.
  • Donations are only processed at the beginning of each month, so please plan accordingly. During the fall and winter we may be delayed in processing requests, thank you for your patience. 
  • The standard donation is a Family Day Pass good for 4 admissions.
  • The best way to make donation requests is via email to: admin@slidewaters.com Please place the words DONATION REQUEST in the subject line of your email. As we transition to an email only donation system we will continue to process mail requests.
  • Due to the number of donation requests we receive, Slidewaters will not be able to honor each request, nor will we be able to notify organizations if their requests cannot be fulfilled.
