Literally everything you need to know about Slidewaters

SEASON SCHEDULE

Every year Slidewaters plans for an operational season from the Saturday before Memorial Day to Labor Day. We do not open on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. We open at 10AM. Closing time varies in May and June between 3 and 7pm. In July and August, we close at 7pm. Our operational schedule can be viewed here.  Please be aware things outside of our control can alter our days and hours of operation. Examples of things that have altered our operations in the past; health pandemic, forest fires, smoke, lightning, storms, power outages.


To ensure guest safety, we also reserve the right to open with less than 100% of our attractions. Examples of things that have kept attractions closed; repairs, maintenance, staffing, water quality. Thank you for understanding that it is always our goal to keep our planned operational schedule with 100% of the park open, but sometimes that it is not possible while also maintaining our safety standards. Typically when these tough decisions are made, we have little to no warning and cannot possibly update the general public in time. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and will do our best to minimize the impact on our guests and Team Members.

ALL DAY TICKETS

Slidewaters All Day Tickets are good for 1-day from opening until closing. All Day tickets allow guests to enter and exit the park as many times as they want during their day visit. Guests will receive a readmittance stamp the first time they leave the park. Slidewaters offers four different types of All Day tickets.


Our General Admission ticket is for all guests over four feet tall that do not qualify for a different ticket. Our Under 4' Admission ticket is for all guests under four feet tall that do not qualify for a different ticket. Our Senior Admission Ticket is good for all guests 60 years and older. Guests 3 and under qualify for Free Admission. Guests under 4 feet are not allowed on the Downhill Racer or Thunder Rapids. Guests over 4 feet tall may not use the water toys in the Aqua Zoo.


Height for guests is determined at our entrance. Guests under 4 feet will receive a stamp signifying they are less than 48 inches and not eligible to ride Downhill Racer or Thunder Rapids. Guests slightly over 4 feet will receive a different stamp showing guards they are over 48 inches and can ride any attraction.

PM PLUNGE TICKETS

Slidewaters PM Plunge Tickets are good for the last 3 hours of operation any day Slidewaters is open. PM Plunge tickets are only available on-site at Slidewaters and sales do not begin until exactly 3 hours prior to close. PM Plunge Tickets mimic All Day tickets in every way, except they are only good for the last 3 hours of the day. PM Plunge guests may enter and exit the park as many times as they want during their day visit. Guests will receive a readmittance stamp the first time they leave the park.

SEASON PASSES

Slidewaters season passes are for guests who plan to visit Slidewaters 3 or more times during one summer. Each individual wishing to take advantage of the season pass privileges must  have their own season pass. Season passes can be purchased solo or in bulk. Slidewaters offers passes to be purchased in groups of 1,4 or 6. Friends & Family 4 or 6 packs include either 4 or 6 passes that can be assigned to anyone the purchaser wants. Once a pass is assigned for the season, it can not be reassigned to another individual.


Passes are also not allowed to be shared with other individuals as only the originally assigned pass holder may take advantage of the benefits of that pass. Season Passes may be purchased online in advance or on-site at anytime. Every season pass holder over the age of 18 must have an account in our system. Please use identical name and email as previous seasons, so that your account is updated rather than a new account being created. During the waiver/account creation process, parents or guardians of minors will have the opportunity to add child accounts to their account.  Season passes will be assigned at Slidewaters. All guests will be required to have their picture taken as part of the assigning process. Guests will receive 1 RFID device per pass for pass verification each time the guest comes to the park. RFID devices (key fob or bracelet) also allow guests to take advantage of our cashless system.



Season Pass holders receive 10% off Food & Beverages (non-alcoholic).


Failure to follow our season pass policies or park rules may result in loss of season pass privileges without refund.

CABANAS & PAVILIONS

Cabana and pavilion reservations may be made in advance online or on-site at Slidewaters. Reservations for upcoming seasons begin the November prior to the season. Cabanas and pavilions are paid in full at the time the reservation is made. Full refunds may be requested up until 3 days prior to the reservation. Within 3 days of the reservation, guests may reschedule to a later date and once a reservation date has past a refund is not allowed.


Refunds will not be issued to guests cancelling within 3 days of their reservation. The inability to rent a cabana or pavilion to another guest on short notice is the primary reason for only allowing guests to reschedule within 3 days of the reservation. Once the date of the reservation has arrived guests can no longer reschedule for another date. Please keep these policies in mind at the time of booking. We will do our best to make accommodations for all guests within our policies.


Guests are expected to follow all park rules and care for all Cabana and Pavilion furniture. Misuse of any cabana or pavilion furniture will result in the immediate dismissal from the space without refund. Slidewaters reserves the right to charge guests for unnecessary damage caused by negligent guest actions. This includes but is not limited to; standing on furniture, moving furniture outside designated space, spraying sunscreen over furniture, using furniture for any purpose it was not designed for.


As is the case for all of Slidewaters property, there is no smoking in cabanas or pavilions as well as no excessive displays of affection. Failure to follow Slidewaters rules and regulations may result in dismissal from the park without refund.

ACCOUNTS & WAIVERS

Individual accounts are needed for season pass holders, cashless system use, reservations and for guests wishing to track their purchases. Accounts are created through our waiver system. The waiver is required for season pass holders and citywave USA surfers. The waiver expires every November and must be completed each year for season pass holders and surfers.


Please use identical name and email when renewing your account each year, so that you update your account and don't create a new one. Creating an account also signs you up for our monthly newsletter. SURF SESSIONS

citywave USA surf sessions are 45-minutes that allow a maximum of 12 surfers per session. The 10:45 & 11:30 sessions on Slidewaters operational days are included at no extra cost to Slidewaters guests, but these sessions are still restricted to 12 surfers per session and are awarded on a first come first serve basis with priority given to first time visitors to Lakeside Surf each day. Regular visitors to Slidewaters will have limited access to these free sessions in an attempt to get more people a chance to surf. The standard surf session is 45-minutes long and costs a premium. Standard surf sessions (45-minute sessions) can be booked in advance online or by reaching staff via email or phone.


Guests who book a private session are reserving all 12-spots for that 45-minute session and can invite up to 12 qualified surfers to surf. The private session purchasing guest can also choose from a beginner, intermediate or advanced wave. Lakeside Surf requires 48 hours for rescheduling surf sessions. We do not offer refunds, but will do our best to make accommodations for guests with schedule changes. Surf memberships come with additional surf session privileges and can be ready about here


All citywave USA riders must read our rules and regulations and sign our waiver. Click here to jump to the waiver page. All activity is done at your own risk. If you book a session during Slidewaters operational hours, you and your guests must have valid admission to Slidewaters. Please arrive early to check-in and be ready to surf at the start of your session. We recommend arriving at the check-in desk at least 20-minutes prior to your session and 30 for first time surfers.


All surfing includes a soft surf board, rashguard and helmet for use during your session. Other equipment is available for rent. Sessions have the potential to be made up of mixed skill levels, please be courteous to all surfers. Riders should limit each turn to around 30 seconds. 2022 will be our second year of surfing, please be patience with all staff as we work to offer the best service possible to all guests.

GROUPS

Slidewaters Group discounts are available for qualifying groups of guests. The following criteria must be met for a group to qualify for a group discount;

  1. All groups must register their visit prior to 9am the day of their visit.
  2. Group must have at least 20 paying guests.
  3. All guests receiving the discount must enter the park at the same time.
  4. 1 person must present payment for the entire group. (No personal checks)


We do not accept individual payments from group members and group members not entering the park with the group at the time payment is collected will not be eligible for the group rate. Discount is applied to the rate each guest qualifies for, except for the non-profit discount which is a flat rate for all members of the group.


Only 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations qualify for our non-profit rate. Proof of non-profit status may be requested.


Upon arrival at Slidewaters, please keep your group back from the entrance (outside the covered space) and send 1 representative to the entrance booth to begin the check-in process.

GIFT CARDS & VOUCHERS

Slidewaters & Lakeside Surf gift cards are an electronic gift card that the recipient can use for anything sold at Slidewaters. They can be used online or on-site. They do not expire. There is a $1/month maintenance charge for gift cards that have been inactive for 2 years. Gift cards can be scheduled for delivery to any email address and are available in increments of $20, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200 or $500. E-gift cards are identified and utilized by the code included with the email.


Slidewaters cashless system is a gift card based system connected to your Slidewaters accounts. All standard gift card laws apply. Cashless account credit does not expire; after 2 years of inactivity a $1/month maintenance charge is applied. The cashless system is accessed with your RFID device (key fob or bracelet).


Slidewaters vouchers are sold to be applied to specific SKUs. These are in place to utilize as gifts for items that need to be registered by the end user (example: Season Pass or Surf Session). They also allow guests to make a purchase now, but to delay scheduling their event until they closer to their visit. This will be most common with surf sessions.



Slidewaters vouchers are good for the season in which they are purchased for.
