MULTI FUNCTIONAL EVENT SPACE
Come enjoy a wide variety of events at Lakeside Surf. With a space designed for flexiblity you can expect a wide range of events throughout the season.
LIVE MUSIC
Enhance your evening by taking in a live music performance while enjoying the view, the surf and a cold beer. Musicians are now being booked for SoundWave Saturdays in July and August. Head to the LAKESIDE SURF EVENTS page to see the current lineup.
RIVER SURF TOURNAMENTS
Lakeside Surf has four annual river surf competitions each year. Bomb's & Groms and the Whipper Snappers Tournaments feature surfers still in high school and take place in May and October each year.
The Battle of the Butte is an open registration surf tournament designed for anyone who loves to compete. From beginner to world-class this tournament is ready for you. The Battle of the Butte takes place the last Friday & Saturday of June.
The Continental Surf Cup is a team competition that features Team USA vs Team Europe. 16 surfers from each team compete every other Labor Day Weekend with the hopes of hoisting the Surf Cup for their team.
The Gerry Lopez River Surf Invitational is 4-day event featuring the biggest collection of high level river surfers in the world as well as an Open Amateur division that sends the winner to the weekend Pro Division. Every other Labor Day Weekend this highly anticipated event gives away the largest prize pool in River Surfing. The 2025 purse was over $40,000!

We have 8 different options and 20 total cabanas available; capacity varies from 10 to 14 guests. GROUP PAVILIONS
Secure your meeting place before you leave your house! Centrally located within the park, our private pavilions are perfect for groups, clubs or families who want guaranteed shade, privacy, room to spread out and a defined meeting place for the entire group. We have 3 pavilions-each a different size; good for gatherings from 5 to 55. Pavilions are located next to each other between the Purple Haze exit pool and the stair entrance to the Lazy River and Downhill Racer.
Admission to Slidewaters not included.

OPERATIONAL SCHEDULE
SLIDEWATERS
Slidewaters is a seasonal outdoor waterpark. The scheduled operational season is from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day each year. Lakeside Surf is a partner surf facility connected to Slidewaters. When Slidewaters is open, Lakeside Surf is also open. GOOD TO KNOW
Slidewaters reserves the right to alter our hours of operations. For their own safety, patrons can expect periodic closure of water attractions if lightning is in the vicinity of the park. In conjunction with local health authorities, we may need to alter operations to ensure guest safety. We do not offer refunds, but are happy to make accommodations for your purchases.

GROUP VISITS
We host many groups every summer and invite you to bring your school field trip, company picnic, family reunion, youth summer outing, church trip or birthday party to Slidewaters.
Groups over 20 guests will receive a discount on admission if they register their visit one day prior to their arrival. We require everyone receiving the group rate to enter the park at the same time, while one person presents payment for the entire group. We will not accept individual payments for the different members of the group. Late arriving group members will need to pay our regular admission rates.
