SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
It is know that Slidewaters is the greatest summer job in North Central Washington and it just got better! For over 40 years, young adults have been working at Slidewaters having fun AND building skills for their futures. The Team Slidewaters Scholarship program is a way to support staff in acheiving their career goals.
Purpose
Provide scholarships to Team Slidewaters with the goal of enhancing the work experience for Team Members while also providing support for their futures.
Supported Opportunities
Scholarship funds can be used for any educational experience the Team Member is using to better prepare themselves for their future. These can include but are not limited to; pre-college private school costs, higher education, trade schools, career certification programs, specialized training or courses.
Eligibility
Any Team Slidewaters staff member who worked at least 150 hours the year they apply and is eligible for rehire as of 9/30 that year can apply. Applicants will be grouped based on number of years worked at Slidewaters, with higher scholarship being awarded to longer tenured staff.
